Aniseed Catering offer an extensive range of tailor-made menus including sit down lunches, fine dining gala dinners, memorable weddings and civil partnerships, fantastic canapé receptions, breakfast and lunch deliveries and outdoor BBQ’s. Aniseed Catering was established in 2009 by Colin Mabbutt to provide a premium quality outside catering services. Since then Aniseed Catering has gained a strong reputation as Bristol’s finest corporate caterer, wedding caterer and private events caterer.
We have achieved this by understanding our clients individual needs, then tailoring our service & menus to suit your taste, budget or theme. Paying great attention to every detail whilst delivering stylish food and exceptional service is what sets us apart from our competitors.
Aniseed Catering holds full public liability insurance. Our modern production kitchen has a 5* Food Hygiene Rating from Bristol City Council. Our staff are trained in all aspects of customer service and hygiene awareness ensuring that we are fully compliant with all Food safety and Health and Safety Legislation.

Colin is an experienced, classically trained and award winning chef, who has a life long passion for all styles and tastes in food and has travelled the world to further develop his skills, working with some of the great chefs of the day. With extensive knowledge from working in high end environments, from named restaurants to 5 star hotels around the world, Aniseed’s kitchen has an expert at the helm! Siân Propert Events Director
Since achieving a BSc in Hotel and Catering Management at Oxford Brookes, Siân has become a highly skilled events coordinator who has been organising and running both social and corporate events for over 15 years. Her position as Functions Manager at the prestigious Cavalry & Guards Club in Piccadilly London, gave her the opportunity to work with many high profile clients. Tasmin Shanley Events Manager
After achieving a BSc in Tourism and Hospitality Management at Plymouth University, Tasmin has experienced life in the skies as an air hostess for Emirates Airlines, working and living in Dubai. During her time at Emirates she was trained in of high quality attentive service, and attention to detail. Tasmin then took on the role of events manager at a Marriott Hotel, where she undertook the daily organising and running of events, from small corporate meetings to large email@example.com
